The smart gun debate has made its way to Washington State.
On Wednesday, a symposium was held with smart gun manufacturers from around the world, as well as New Jersey Senator Loretta Weinberg, Washington CeaseFire president Ralph Fascitelli, and smart gun critic Rick Patterson, among others.
It was the largest meeting of its kind to discuss improving and emerging technologies that would keep guns from firing in the hands of children and criminals. The symposium, and the communication it will encourage between differing opinions is an important step in creating technology that will keep families safer.
